In Tales of Zestiria, the main character Sorey and his best friend Mikleo are heavily implied to be in a relationship. Neither character shows more than a passing interest in the opposite sex, and many of the other characters express envy of the bond that the two share. They are shown to be very physically comfortable around one another, and one of the unlockable titles for Mikleo in the game (a descriptor that can be assigned to a character that has cosmetic or statistical effects on that character) is “One and Only”. Furthermore, game producer Hideo Baba described Mikleo in an interview with Side B-N (Bandai Namco’s informational/advertising magazine) as Sorey’s one and only. (“スレイにとって、唯一無二の存在です。”)

War of the worlds movie. While there is no explicit statement of love between the characters, the depictions of romance are no more or less strongly implied than those of heterosexual relationships involving main characters in other Tales series games.

Those with the ability to commune with the Seraphim became known as “Shepherds”, the most pure-hearted of which could even be granted a Seraphim’s power. While some would praise these empowered Shepherds as living paragons, others would fear their strength and call them demons.

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The massively popular “Tales” series of video games from Bandai Namco Studios continues in 2015 with the fantasy epic Tales of Zestiria. With the fate of Greenwood at stake two empires go to war while mystical Seraphs combat the evil Hyoma. Following after his friend and rival Sorey is another Seraph and hero, MIKLEO! A Water Seraph whose true name Ruzuroshiv Lelei means “Mikleo the Executor,” this warrior against the Hyoma strikes a powerful pose. Mikleo spins in place, bringing his mighty staff to bear on the enemy with one hand while the other is raised to perform water-based seraphic artes. The Seraph looks exactly like he does in the game with an ornate and highly detailed outfit accentuated by a jacket with long trailing capes, and his intense purple eyes contrast nicely with the cool blue tones of his clothing and hair. Mikleo stands 7 ½ inches tall (1/8 scale) on a specially designed display base. Defend yourself against evil Hyoma by bringing home this powerful warrior, or pair him with the previously released Sorey for a full Tales of Zestiria display!
